Shattered by Alan Moster

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
He shattered in pieces
Then trauma ensued
So we called several healers
Who claimed that they knew

They applied all their theories
techniques and skills too
Soon after we realized
they hadn’t a clue

So we called the king’s horses
And all the king’s men,
But they were too busy
for company then

Then a woman appeared
and sat down with such grace
Held Humpty’s hand gently
Tears sprinkled his face

She whispered I’m with you
til you find your way
The forest is scary
That’s all I can say.
