Fractured Soul Factory by K.G. Munro

Many of us are broken
before we can even see the cracks
As we walk blindly through life
Enduring the fear and hatred
that we are steeped in daily
By the media and people who always think
that they are right
Just a number assigned to each of us
Treatment includes a concoction of drugs
To be numb and stay compliant
As our souls bleed for love and compassion
Society has become a factory
One that creates stress and anxiety
As each soul is broken and replaced
Like products on a conveyor belt
Mental illness is a sane response
To a very insane world.
